Dr Kyle Ward and Olaf Minge will present about the 99th Infantry Battalion and the new book at the Minneapolis Torske Klubben.  While the event is for the members of the club, we hope to record it for viewing online later.

The 10th Mountain Ski-In at Ski-Cooper was a record breaking event.  There were several hundred that participated in the ski parade down the mountain, many from the 10th Mtn Division and the Special Forces Association.  The much smaller 99th Infantry Battalion was represented by 15 attendees - a record for recent years.  The event is typically the last Friday in February, so a good one to mark on your calendar for 2025!  

What a wonderful event in St. Paul, Minnesota. 290 people attended our book presentation at the state Historical Society. 

It was also an honor to visit with the Norwegian Home Guard NOREX members at the Fort Snelling museum earlier in the day and to remember the 99th Soldiers who sacrificed at battle sites like Malmedy, Belgium.

The 99th Educational Foundation hosted a Get Together at Macalester College, St Paul, Minnesota.  This was in conjunction with a special event celebrating the incredible 50-year NOREX partnership between Norway and Minnesota, as well as the US-Nordic Security Alliance.

Several families brought mementos and displays for a Family Veteran Table. Our friends from the Camp Ripley Museum joined us and providing a little Antiques Roadshow time. 

The 99th Educational Foundation has a booth reserved for Friday, Sept 22nd and Saturday, Sept 23rd.  This annual event attracts thousands of people to Minot, North Dakota.
